Top Ten Eco Friendly Products For Your Home
Today, I feel like it’s a pretty well known fact we should be nice to the planet. Now, I’m not fanatical about it, and with two toddlers running around, convenience and practicality is still key. However, I really do try and make a conscious effort to reduce our family’s footprint on the earth because it just seems like the sensible thing to do. So here are my top ten eco friendly products for your home.

Convenient and easy to store. These bad boys reduce the plastic consumption drastically. Plus they come in all sorts of fun colors and easy to carry options.
Yeti Coffee Mug
We all know mamas cannot survive without our cup of joe. But if we’re moving and shaking and have to take our piping hot beverage on the go, it’s a good idea to have a reusable cup as an option. Yeti’s are a staple in our household, they’re easy to clean and indestructible.
These powerhouses are a great option for natural cleaning. Essential oils are known to destroy mildew, mold, viruses, germs, bacteria and fungus, making them an incredibly useful and eco friendly alternative to standard cleaning products. Check out this awesome offer from Simply Earth to get started on your essential oil journey.
Reusable Silicone Bags
These reusable silicone bags can be used…for… everything! I love them. On the go snacks, dry bags for the pool, keeping pacifiers and baby products germ free while on the go, shelf storage, you name it, you can use them. These bags save an incredible amount of plastic baggies from going into the ocean and pay for themselves ten times over for the amount of uses you get out of them! Plus this style bag doesn’t come with the hard to maneuver bar at the top which is a plus in my book!
Add a little greenery to the house. It’s good for the soul and good for clean air! Plus they just look so darn pretty and add a little pep to your step, especially on these dreary winter days.
Glass Lunch Containers
I’m not a huge fan of all things glass, just because…toddlers. But glass lunch containers are a great go to because of their durability and they’re easy to clean. Pop these guys in the dishwasher and you’re good to go!
Reusable Beeswax Food Wrap
Save on all that plastic wrap and opt for these adorably designed beeswax options. They become moldable from the warmth of your hands and you can easily wash them for reuse. Plus with the abundance of cute designs the kids will get a kick out of them too!
Reusable Swiffer Pads
A great way to save some space in the landfills is to opt for these reusable swiffer pads. They’re a staple for cleaning the floors and easy to pop into the washer after you’re finished.
Biodegradable Kitchen Sponges
I HATE kitchen scrubbers. I think they’re gross. But these reusable kitchen sponges are reusable, washable and biodegradable which is pretty cool.
Earth Friendly Laundry Detergent
If you do opt for earth conscious house products, it’s a good idea to also use an eco friendly detergent to keep your reusables going strong. Ecos is hypoallergenic, septic safe, plant based and not tested on animals (which is a huge plus in my book!). It does a great job tackling toddler stains while still being earth friendly.
